Kenapa kena jadi baik?
Weird... When we try to be good muslims, that's what make people drive away from us. Not closer.
Because we mentioned Allah's name in whatever we say, so people do not want to listen.
Because we said it is wrong to lied, so people think we are just too good to be true.
Because we wear clothes that covered our whole precious body and still being active, people say we are being impractical and looks funny.
Because we do not share our problems and what worries us, people think we are ego and too proud of ourselves.
Because we want to be good muslims, people thought we are just trying to impressed them (and others).
What are we, then?
When we tried our best to be good muslims despite the field we are involved in, we often being laughed at. Do we have to be called ustaz and ustazah then only we are considered good muslims? Do we have to be recognised as haji and hajjah then only we are considered as complete muslims?
Allahu Allah...
Make me strong ya Allah. I want to be a good muslimah because of You. Not because of what other people want me to be.
